Biography
Andrii Viktorovych Mokiienko is a Doctor of Medical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health and Physical Education at the National University of Ostroh Academy. He has authored and co-authored more than 900 scientific publications, including 28 monographs on the quality of drinking and mineral waters, water disinfection, and the protection and use of natural therapeutic resources. These include two monographs on silicon in water: «Кремний в воде. Гигиенические и медико-биологические аспекты» (Odesa: Feniks, 2020) and the co-authored «Кремній у воді: гігієнічні та медико-біологічні аспекти» (Odesa: Pres-kurier, 2026), which is cited as a primary source in this section.
